1. Data Collection & Privacy

We believe in "Privacy by Design." Rx Aspirant does not require user accounts or cloud-syncing for core features. Your mock test results, progress reports, and bookmarks are stored using Local Storage on your physical device.

2. Advertising & Analytics

To keep high-quality educational content free, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements, and Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. These third-party services may collect the following on our behalf:

Google AdMob

• Advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID / Google Advertising ID) and other device identifiers, used to show relevant ads and measure ad performance.
• General, non-precise information such as device type, operating system, and approximate region, used for ad targeting and fraud prevention.
• AdMob does not receive your name, email address, or any personal account information from us, since Rx Aspirant does not use accounts.

Firebase Cloud Messaging

• A device-specific registration token, used to deliver push notifications and manage your alert subscriptions.
• Basic app diagnostic data (such as crash reports), used to keep the app stable.

Your Ad Choices & Consent

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent form before any ads are requested, in line with Google's EU user consent policy. You can manage or withdraw your ad personalization consent at any time from within the app, or directly through Google Ads Settings. Our web infrastructure is hosted on Vercel, ensuring high availability and speed. Mobile integration is handled via Capacitor. These platforms maintain their own security standards to protect the integrity of the application code.

5. Children's Privacy

Rx Aspirant is designed for pharmacy students and competitive-exam aspirants, and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Because most app data (test results, bookmarks, progress) is stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, you can clear this data at any time by clearing the app's storage/cache in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. For data collected by our third-party partners (AdMob, Firebase), you can exercise the choices described in Section 2 above, or contact those providers directly through the linked policies.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

8. Student Safety

This application is tailored for Pharmacy aspirants. We do not track personal identities or engage in data mining. We are compliant with standard educational privacy expectations.
